1. Platform intent & prohibited use. FindAFone exists to help legitimate service providers advertise lawful businesses to South African consumers. Advertising illicit services, prohibited trade items, illegal substances or counterfeit goods is strictly barred. All listings must comply with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and national legislation. Non-compliant listings are removed automatically, without notice or refund.

2. Proprietary rights & anti-copying. This application, its source code, layouts, databases, operational logic and interface designs are the property of the developer and are protected under the Copyright Act No. 98 of 1978 and international intellectual property law. Users receive a restricted, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the directory for legitimate lookups. Copying, cloning, reverse-engineering or extracting data for redistribution is prohibited.

3. Statutory compliance (ZA). This platform operates in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013 and Section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act No. 25 of 2002. Published contact information is protected from bulk harvesting and unsolicited marketing compilation.
